WIFS will host the international Dive In festival in The Netherlands for the third time. During the festival on 27, 28 and 29 September a great number of online and physical events are organised. As a WIFS member you also able to participate in all other Dive In events that are organised internationally.
On the last day of Dive In, Thursday September 29, we will host an online event at 13.30 o'clock. The language of this event is English as we invited Marcia Goddard - neuroscientist, Chief Corporate Officer The Contentment Foundation as a speaker. She is an experienced neuroscientist who left academia to focus on building bridges between science and business. Her specific expertise is workplace behaviour in high performance cultures: how do you build a culture in which people can flourish? Topics she works on include diversity, equality and inclusion, mental health and well-being, recruitment, performance management, learning and development, and organisational culture.
Many of her insights come from studying behavior and culture in Formula 1 teams. By combining my neuroscientific expertise with business experience in HR leadership roles, she understand organizational needs and requirements. This allows her to develop and implement holistic, comprehensive strategies, policies, programs, and interventions that have a direct impact on performance and results.

Brave cultures within the financial sector means awareness of its important position in society and the courage to want to make a contribution to the challenges we now face as a society. This requires a different attitude from financial companies, to relate differently to customers, markets, making money available and defending risks. This requires balanced leadership with room for diversity and multiple perspectives.
