Executive Lunch with Geeke Feiter

On Thursday October 6, WIFS organises its third executive lunch of the year. This time we will be having lunch with Geeke Feiter, Director of the Dutch Association of Insurers. 

Geeke was born in Twente in 1971 and spent her high school years in Enschede. After completing her studies in Architecture at Delft University of Technology, she joined ING Group as a management trainee and held various positions in the insurance industry in the Netherlands and abroad. In more recent years at NationaleNederlanden she was responsible for the private Non-life business in the Netherlands and Belgium. In 2017 and 2018, Geeke worked as general manager of Centrum Veilig Wonen in Appingedam on behalf of NAM as an implementing organisation for the damage settlement and reinforcement task in the Groningen gas field.

Now that these activities have been placed entirely in the hands of the government as of January 1, 2019, she has returned to the insurance sector. Again at the intersection of public and private and with the ambition to contribute to the challenges facing our society with insights from the sector. But also to create a setting in which the sector can continue to make its contribution in a healthy and sustainable manner. Her affinity with the Property & Casualty insurance sector and passion for technology is also reflected in her portfolio within the Association, which includes Property & Casualty, innovation and new risks such as climate change.

We are looking forward to discussing Geeke's experiences and motivations with WIFS members together at the Verbond van Verzekeraars office in The Hague, while enjoying a lunch provided by the Verbond. So register now!
