Amsterdam, June 15 - WIFS proudly hosted its second executive drinks session of the year at the elegant offices of Van Lanschot Kempen on Beethovenstraat in Amsterdam Zuid. During this gathering, we were delighted to meet Maarten Edixhoven, Chairman of the Management Board of Van Lanschot Kempen and a member of WIFS's Advisory Board.
The event saw a high turnout, with 15 participants representing various stakeholders within the financial sector, including executive search agencies, consultancy firms, and banks.
The focus of the gathering was on discussing Diversity & Inclusion within the financial sector. Maarten Edixhoven was eager to share his experiences and insights on how he has championed these important themes throughout his career and now at Van Lanschot Kempen. He spoke candidly about the challenges and dilemmas, but also about the opportunities that diversity and inclusion offer for both individuals and organizations.
Laura Lee, Diversity & Inclusion Manager at Van Lanschot Kempen, also participated in the discussion. She shared valuable insights and practical tips with the audience on how companies can effectively work towards a more inclusive corporate culture.
The gathering concluded with an informal drinks reception where delicious beverages and snacks were served, providing a wonderful opportunity for informal networking and exchanging experiences with all participants.
