On Tuesday, June 20th, the Top 50 Women in Sustainable Finance 2022 gathered at The Wire Group. Tera Terpstra, who is also listed, and her co-founder Carolien Wegener, graciously hosted the meeting at their residence.
Nicolette Loonen, the initiator of the Top 50 Women in Sustainable Finance list, opened the session. She highlighted the significance of the interplay between female leadership and sustainability, and explained why this is pivotal for the transformation of the financial sector.
Following this, Hilde Veelaert shared her personal story, which was accompanied by photographs, as the guests enjoyed a delightful meal. Subsequently, an inspiring account of The Wire Group was presented.
The event concluded with a networking session, during which attendees discussed how they could collectively create an impactful community.
The Top 50 will continue to meet in the future to inspire each other and collectively enhance their impact.
